This 16-day pilgrimage to Australia for World Youth Day 2008 offers a blend of spiritual events and cultural immersion. The journey begins with a “Day in Diocese” experience before heading to Sydney for the main WYD celebrations. Highlights include an opening mass cruise, a welcome mass with Pope Benedict XVI, an overnight vigil, and the Stations of the Cross. The trip concludes with a full-day excursion to Tobruck farms to experience Australian country life, including sheep shearing and a visit to a Koala Park.
